Butterflies in Pre-Kindergarten
Mrs. Tighe and Mrs. Ulseth's Pre Kindergarten classes are finishing up our unit of study on Insects. Our students have learned all about colors, shapes movements and insect behaviors. Students explored various methods of investigating insects outside and inside the classroom. We enjoyed watching our butterfly larvae go through different stages from larvae, to caterpillar, to chrysalis, to butterfly. We learned what insects need to live and grow, change and protect themselves for survival.
