In 2022, our started a new reporting program called Schoology which is an online reporting system. Currently, Kindergarten-Grade 4 use Schoology. (Our Pre-Kindergarten uses a program called Gold.)
All reporting of student progress is done "live" in this program, and as such, parents do not receive paper report cards throughout the year. Live reporting has been common practice in Red Deer Catholic Schools for the last several years.
Teachers use timely and targeted assessments (marks and comments) based on the curriculum outcomes. Teachers will be updating Schoology monthly. We encourage you to log into Schoology and if you are needing any support in this area, please contact your child's teacher.
