Grade 4 Coding
The Grade 4 classes have all been taking part in various coding platforms to engage with their new Science unit on Computer Science. All three classes were selected to join the Junior Achievement coding platform called RoboGarden. For even more engagement with coding, and to target the many learning styles of the students, they were able to join the Telus World of Science online, during Digital Skills Week. There, they were challenged with higher level thinking and problem solving as they were given various coding tasks to complete. Students were able to share solutions and ideas with other classes around the province. Everyone enjoyed this experience so much and are excited to take part in another coding program through the Telus World of Science, next week.
