Our grade one classes collaborated on a Lenten Social Justice project - a Food Donation Challenge. They collected donations of snack items that we will be using for students at EOLRS. This project was linked to both the Religion and Math curriculums as our grade one students learned about almsgiving during the season of Lent, estimating numbers, skip counting numbers, sorting and counting.
