A Warm Welcome to Rob Coumont

We would like to announce that Rob Coumont will be the Principal of École Our Lady of the Rosary School for the 2019-2020 school year. 

Mr. Coumont graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Arts followed by an Education after degree. He then obtained a Master of Educational Leadership with a focus on 21st-century teaching and learning from the University of Prince Edward Island. Mr. Coumont has been with Red Deer Catholic for 14 years in the roles as teacher, Learning Coach and LIFT support as well as Assistant Principal at Father Voisin before obtaining a position as Director of Inclusive Learning. Mr. Coumont is known for his mentorship of teachers and administrators in the areas of authentic learning, online reporting, literacy as well as leading professional development for administrative assistants and librarians. Mr. Coumont attends St. Mary’s Church and devotes his time to supporting sacramental preparation and youth programs.
