1E is Learning About First Nations Culture

The students in Miss. Eleniak's Grade 1 class read the story " The Thundermaker" written by Allan Syliboym and learned about the traditions and symbols of the First Nations cultures. Each student then created a traditional teepee and decorated it with First Nations symbols.
