We are so very proud of our Christian Leadership Award Winners and of our students who received the Sacraments of First Communion and Reconciliation this year.
The Christian Leadership Award is very special and is only given to one student per class (and sometimes two if there is a special reason). A student who earns the Christian Leadership award demonstrates many or all of the following Christ-like qualities:
Helping others
Including others
Showing kindness/empathy to others
Showing compassion and respect
Modeling the golden rule “Treating others as you would like to be treated”
Living their lives like Jesus would want them to.
Although there are many students that display these qualities at ÉOLR, only some can be selected. Recipients' names are displayed on the school plaque in our gathering area to recognize that we all aspire to follow in the footsteps of Christ.
